Michael brings a wealth of experience and passion to his work, backed by a solid academic foundation. With an MSc Physiotherapy from the University of Limerick in Ireland and a BSc Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, Michael has honed his ability to assess, treat, and prevent injuries. He also completed a 2200-hour diploma at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, solidifying his skills in hands-on therapeutic care.
Michael's comprehensive approach integrates personal experience, academic credentials, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve optimal health and wellness. Michael focuses on functional movement, improved performance, and active rehabilitation, empowering his clients to recover from and proactively prevent future injuries. He is dedicated to inspiring others to engage more fully in life by embracing healthier, more active lifestyles.
His athletic history spans rock climbing, hiking, soccer, karate, wrestling, and field hockey, giving him firsthand insight into the demands of training, competition, and injury recovery. Having navigated his own post-injury rehabilitation, Michael deeply understands the interconnectedness of physical health and emotional wellbeing, which forms the cornerstone of his practice.
Outside of work, Michael stays active by hiking, camping, traveling, working out, and nurturing his ever-growing collection of plants.
