About

Michelle is a Registered Kinesiologist in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario since its inception in April 2013. In addition, she has been a Certified Member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association having met all standards and participated in continuing education standards program since 2007.

Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in the School of Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. She has been employed in the Rehabilitation Services field and worked within the scope of practice as a Kinesiologist for the past 19 years. Michelle is experienced in the musculoskeletal treatment of individuals injured through sports, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents and has extensive training/experience with work conditioning programs.

Her goal is to educate clients on the importance of regular exercise as well as devise and implement a plan for returning clients to regular function. Furthermore, Michelle has completed a number post-graduate education courses in Water Therapy, Chronic Pain, Occupational Rehabilitation, Functional Capacity Evaluations and Cancer Care Rehabilitation. Most recently she became a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist with the Cancer Exercise Training Institute.

Michelle continues to lead the King East team as Clinical Lead for the WSIB focued specialty OWN program through exercise based rehab programs and virtual education sessions to a wide provincial network of injured workers.
