Monica Caton
About
Monica completed a four-year Bachelor of Medical Sciences at the University of Western Ontario before continuing her education in physiotherapy. She graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2011. She has been working in outpatient orthopaedic clinics as a physiotherapist and clinic director with Lifemark since 2015.
Monica specializes in complex cases that have had difficulty in achieving client goals. Her specialties include manual techniques, functional dry needling, intramuscular stimulation, cupping therapy for various orthopaedic issues, vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and vertigo, concussion and vision therapy, TMD or TMJ dysfunctions, and pelvic health (for pelvic floor dysfunction; external therapy only).
She enjoys working to help chronic pain conditions, acute injuries, sports-related injuries, dizziness and concussion and children’s rehabilitation.
She believes in looking at the whole body to address injuries as the whole body is connected, along with changing how we move in our day-to-day life to optimize alignment and muscle function.
In May 2020, Monica was selected as one of the Top 3 physiotherapists in Saskatoon, according to Three Best Rated, passing their rigorous 50-Point Inspection. Learn more here: https://threebestrated.ca/physical-therapists-in-saskatoon-sk
