About
Nick is a hometown kid, from Springhill, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 2024 with a Masters in Occupational Therapy and University of New Brunswick (UNB) Fredericton in 2021 with a Bachelors in Science of Kinesiology. Nick is currently a Provisional Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia while he awaits to write his full licensing exam in September.
Prior to continuing his Masters in Occupational Therapy, he worked as a Kinesiologist at ptHealth in Amherst mainly working with clients to develop safe exercise plans and managing gradual return to work plans.
Nick’s primary goal in clinic as an Occupational Therapist is helping clients to reconnect safely with activities and occupations that bring meaning and fulfillment to their everyday life. He believes the key to successful rehabilitation is done through supporting clients to live and independent active and healthy lifestyle.
Outside of work, Nick has always been interested in living an active lifestyle, particularly hockey, soccer, baseball, softball, skiing and golf. In high school he was a member of his high schools’ provincial hockey, soccer, baseball, and softball teams. During his time at UNB he was the Men’s Soccer team Student Athletic Therapist.
When not at the clinic Nick enjoys participating in numerous activities such as working out, running, kayaking, building legos, puzzles and spending time with the family cats and dogs.
