About
Pulkit Singh joined the Lifemark Sudbury team in December 2021 as a Community Physiotherapy Clinic Lead and Physiotherapist. Pulkit is an internationally trained physiotherapist who graduated from Manipal University, India, in 2008. He practiced Physiotherapy for about a year in India and then moved to Sudbury in 2009 for his Master's degree in Human Kinetics at Laurentian University.
While at Laurentian, his research was mainly focused on evaluating foot transmitted vibration in underground miners and efficacy of different orthotics and mining boots in attenuating those vibrations. While pursuing his Master’s, Pulkit got his license to practice Physiotherapy in Canada.
He has now been practicing Physiotherapy since 2012 in Canada and has worked in different set ups including WSIB surgical and non-surgical specialty programs for upper extremity, lower extremity and back injuries; WSIB mTBI programs; return to work rehabilitation programs; completing Functional Capacity Evaluations; Job match functional testings; Concussion and Vestibular Rehab and most recently slow paced in-patient geriatric rehabilitation. He is also LEAN Six-Sigma Green Belt certified and has great interest and involvement in quality improvement projects at various organizations he has worked in before joining Lifemark.
