About
Varun completed his physiotherapy education from GGSIP University and completed his Master of Exercise Physiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Varun is trained and certified in K-tape (sports taping), McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis trherapy for lumbar spine (for low back pain and injuries), spinal manipulation therapy and functional dry needling.
Varun has worked as a registered physiotherapist in Ontario and Alberta. His clinical interests include orthopaedic injuries, arthritis, geriatric and concussion rehab, sports and gym/work-out injuries and day-to-day postural and repetitive stress injuries. He continues to upgrade his clinical skills and knowledge in these fields.
Varun's treatment sessions are mostly one-on-one, hands-on manual therapy. He believes in an active rehab model for a strong and sustainable recovery. Varun believes in adding value to each treatment session by using an evidence-based approach for individualized care, by adding graded exercises and self management techniques, and by providing targeted education to promote long-term health.
Varun loves his work. He is energetic and loves helping people through their recovery.
