We offer ample free parking. Our facility is wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair accessible parking as well as three complimentary Lifemark parking stalls.
We are located on the ground level, just inside the East entrance doors of the Leduc Recreation Centre.
Our services
Lifemark Physiotherapy Black Gold Drive is a multidisciplinary physiotherapy and rehab clinic in Leduc. At our clinic we believe every person who walks through our door is important. Our focus is to provide quality service to assist our patients to reach their full potential.
The space is a beautiful 3,550 square foot clinic conveniently located at the east end of the Leduc Recreation Centre. Our spacious clinic boasts ten physiotherapy treatment beds, a dedicated chiropractic treatment area, two hand therapy stations, two private massage therapy rooms, a private psychology room, and a private acupuncture room.
Additionally, we have a large exercise area filled with natural light and complete with a treadmill, stationary and recumbent bikes, a rower, as well as equipment for strengthening, balance and proprioceptive training, functional exercises, and more.
We also have various treatment modalities including ultrasound, IFC (interferential current), TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), NMES (neuromuscular electrical stimulation), shockwave, heat, paraffin wax bath, and ice.
Alongside manual therapy, we also offer acupuncture as well as dry needling.
We currently have six talented physiotherapists with over 30+ years of combined experience, who offer a wide range of treatment techniques including manual therapy (muscle, fascial and joint mobilization / manipulation), therapeutic exercise, patient education, acupuncture, dry needling, taping, modalities (e.g. ultrasound, shockwave, electrical modalities, heat, ice) and more.
We have a dedicated team that includes a physiotherapy assistant, kinesiologist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, four massage therapists, three occupational therapists and five psychologists who work closely with our physiotherapists to provide the best care possible for our patients.
Our diverse team specializes in sports rehabilitation, work-related and motor vehicle accident injuries as well as long term disability. In addition, we provide rehabilitation after surgery or fracture, treatment for neck or back pain, peripheral joint injuries such as shoulder, hip and knee, and help with pain or disability related to chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis.
We also offer specialized services such as vestibular rehabilitation (balance & dizziness), concussion care, acupuncture and dry needling. We offer massage therapy with a specialization in sports and therapeutic massage as well as craniosacral therapy and RAPID.
Possible funding options available to our patients include WCB (Workers Compensation Board) claims for work related injuries, Motor Vehicle Insurance, and Extended Health Benefits. We are proud to offer direct billing to all major insurance companies.
